Pinus sylvestris 'Globosa Viridis'

This cultivar starts as a dense, rounded ball of long, dark green needles and eventually develops into a unique, broadly pyramidal small tree. It provides a lush, "shaggy" texture that is very different from the more common short-needled dwarf spruces.
