Cupressus vietnamensis

Naturally rare and declared an endangered species, this tree was discovered by Western scientists in 1999 in Vietnam. Bark exfoliates in numerous thin flakes and strips. Long branches spread more or less horizontally with foliage mostly in overlapping sprays or slightly drooping.
